Estimating the Rayleigh-wave Impulse Response Between Seismic Stations with the Cross Terms of the Green Tensor
Kasper van Wijk: Boise State University, Dylan Mikesell: Boise State University, Vera Schulte-Pelkum: CU Boulder, Josh Stachnik: UofA Fairbanks
Phase velocity dispersion curve for the Rayleigh-wave Green function estimated from ambient noise. The dispersion curve resulting from the correlation between vertical and horizontal components of the wave field (top) has greater coherence across the spectrum than the result for the vertical component of the wavefield (bottom).
