I am pleased to be a candidate for the IRIS Board of Directors. I served as member or chair of the DMS standing committee for 7 years (2004-‐2012), and this past summer I was a member of the GSN external review panel. I've been an enthusiastic user of IRIS data and software since graduate school in the mid-‐1990's. If elected to the Board, I will work to sustain IRIS as a leading organization in facilitating global seismological research.
