Ray, Maureen, and Anne will review and edit existing IRIS REU application materials to develop the application for an international student REU program.
Anne and Ray will chat with their international offices to examine options for student visas.
We met to discuss the steps to solicit a call for applications for an international subduction zone focused REU pilot program, supported by a successful Simpson Fund proposal authored by the IDSC. The IDSC discussed several aspects and points of concern in this process and planned to advertise this program in early February.
