Final Report on the Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Pool Facility

The final report for the National Science Foundation funded Ocean Bottom Instrument Pool (OBSIP) facility is now available on the IRIS website. This final report summarizes the activities of OBSIP from 2011-2019 while IRIS managed the instrument pool operated and maintained at the three institutional instrument centers: Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The follow-on facility, OBSIC (Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Center), will be managed and operated by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. OBSIC began operations in 2018 and will continue to serve the marine seismology community.
