Fall AGU IRIS DMC Short Course - Monday, December 3, 2012

Background:

The IRIS DMC has developed a variety of modern methods to access information at the IRIS DMC.  This short course will introduce users to some of these new methods.  It will also provide a forum for members of the IRIS community to ask any questions about Data Services provided by IRIS.

Scope:

* Web services at the DMC
* jWeed – a web services enabled client
* Plans for Federated Web Services across the FDSN
* New methods to register for restricted data access
* Product development within IRIS Data Services
* Q&A session

We have structured this so that some key DMS services will be highlighted first and then there will be ample time for anyone to make suggestions or ask questions and have DMC staff available to respond.
