IRIS Leadership Plans for the Future

IRIS Senior Management and Program Managers along with the Board of Directors recently participated in a professionally facilitated strategic planning session to continue development of a roadmap for the future. The two-day session began with a review of IRIS’s current status and goals for the next three to five years as well as for the year 2020 and beyond. Using pre-session input from participants, the facilitator guided the group as they discussed the Consortium’s mission, values, goals and objectives and whether any updates or modifications should be made. Participants also prioritized the goals, proposed actions and activities to accomplish the goals, and identified possible metrics to measure success.

The strategic planning session was the initial step in an on-going process. IRIS leadership is continuing its strategic planning discussions and outlining realistic actions. A draft Strategic Plan is being prepared and will made available later this year.
