Proposal Images Posted in the IRIS Image Gallery

Photos, figures and graphs included in "Facilitating New Discoveries in Seismology and Exploring the Earth," the IRIS Consortium proposal recently submitted to the National Science Foundation, have been added to the IRIS Image Gallery.

The "Facilitating New Discoveries in Seismology and Exploring the Earth" sub-album is organized into more than a dozen sections that correspond to those in the document. All images can be downloaded for educational and non-commercial use. Each entry includes a title, a description of the graphic, the photographer/contributor, and the individual or organization to be given credit.

The Research Images sub-album of the IRIS Image Gallery also includes images from the document "Seismological Grand Challenges," and the 2006-2011 IRIS Consortium proposal "Cornerstone Facilities for Seismology and Earth Sciences."
