Scientific Community Responds to Verdict Convicting Italian Seismologists
A number of well respected science organizations have issued statements following the manslaughter conviction of six Italian scientists and a government official in connection with the tragic L’Aquila earthquake that occurred on April 6, 2009. This earthquake caused significant damage to L'Aquila and the surrounding area and killed 300 people.
